SOFEE Accelerating Business Growth (SABG) in 2018 Seminar held on the 1st of March, 2018 at the Manufacturers Association Nigeria (MAN) House, 77, Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja Lagos. The seminar was 2018 organized primarily to open the eyes of operators in the Nigerian economy, from aspiring entrepreneurs to business leaders to the emerging developments in the Nigerian economy and how these individuals can take early advantage of them to prosper and resume growth in 2018. And really, it lived up to expectation.
Present at the seminar were individuals from all works of life, from the aspiring entrepreneurs to the movers and shakers of industries. Organisations and groups/associations were duly represented at the seminar; we had Women In Management and Business (WIMBIZ), Mainland Oil, Erisco Foods, Honeywell Flour Mills, NIMASA, NN Fems Limited, Masters Energy Group, Association of Corporate Government Professionals to mention but a few.
The seminar began with registration of participants after which these participants took their sits to receive knowledge that would change their businesses and careers for the better. The Founder/Chairman of SOFEE, Mazi Sam I. Ohuabunwa OFR opened the stage with the welcome remarks and a brief introduction into the vision and mission of SOFEE.
The first resource person to speak was Dr. Austin Nweze. His focus was on the Economic Performance of Nigeria in 2017 and the Economic direction of the country in 2018. He titled his paper, 2017 Economic Performance and 2018 Economic Direction. This was followed by Engr. Charles Aladewolu, who presented the paper, Emerging Business Opportunities in Nigeria and How to take Advantage of Them. This presentation took the seminar to a whole new level the excitement of the participants was contagious and could literraly be touched.
It did not stop there as the seminar observed an hour break to get the participants charged up for the final two papers which were, Financing Businesses and growing Sales and Profits in 2018 and Enablers for Accelerated Business Growth in 2018 presented by Dr. Adebola Olubanjo and Mazi Sam I. Ohuabunwa OFR respectively.
The seminar was declared closed with pictures taken and certificates of Attendance presented to the participants.
